Sella Molenaar is an Amsterdam based illustrator. Her work is defined by intuitive lines, pure simplicity and infinite freedom while celebrating the feminine, the sensual and the aesthetic. Driven by her passion to create an empowering image of women her work represents her personal journey to the discovery of femininity and the female form.

Sella’s art is is and expression of to an “controlled impulsivity” in which a harmonious tension between control and technique is balanced agains minimalism and artistic. Freedom. Always looking for beauty in the imperfections; it is often the uncontrolled lines, the small mistakes and serendipitous additions that make her drawings stand out. Sella workes as a freelance illustrator for several high end clients varying from Dolce & Gabbana and Dior, creates autonomous art and organises creative workshops, annual art coaching programs and retreats.
